Credit terms can only be decided subject to NIC ICE Ltd receiving a fully completed credit account application for satisfactory credit check & trade references. Until a credit account has been agreed, orders can only be accepted on a proforma basis with the first order being paid by BACS.
All Credit Accounts must be settled within 28 days of invoice date.
We accept the following forms of payment BACS (preferred method), cheque & card.
Any outstanding invoices which are not paid within our standard terms, and which are not in dispute with the company, will be charged compound interest at the rate of 2% per calendar month.

For Mainland UK, orders over the value of £499 net will be carriage free. For orders of less than £499 in value a one-off carriage charge of £50 will be made.
For Southern Ireland, orders over the value of £1000 net will be carriage free. For orders between £500-£999 in value a one-off carriage charge of £45 will be made. Orders under £500 will be charged a one-off carriage charge of £90.
For Northern Ireland, orders over the value of £1000 net will be carriage free. For orders between £500-£999 in value a one-off carriage charge of £37.50 will be made. Orders under £500 will be charged a one-off carriage charge of £75.00
For the Scottish Highlands and all islands, orders over the value of £1000 net will be carriage free. For orders between £500-£999 in value a one-off carriage charge of £32.50 will be made, for under £500 a charge of £65.00
We aim to deliver mainland UK orders within 5 working days of receipt of your order. Orders placed on a Friday will normally be delivered by Friday the following week.
Next day deliveries at the customer’s request will incur an additional £25 and can only be accepted up until 12pm daily (excludes Mondays, and accounts must be within terms). Saturday deliveries at the customer’s request will incur an additional £75
Unfortunately, the next day service and Saturday services are not available in some areas, please contact the sales office for further information.
For items that can be posted we will charge postage and packaging at cost. Though we continually strive to keep transport costs to a minimum we reserve the right to vary the stated charges should the need arise.
We have full BRC Accreditation and have a duty of care to store all food product correctly, we therefore cannot accept any food product returns. In the event of any other items being returned due to customer error, we reserve the right to apply a 25% restocking fee.
Without exception, the sales office must be notified by telephone 03301 281655 or email firstname.lastname@example.org of any damages or shortages within 24 hours (excluding weekends). Failure to do so may result in refusal of a credit note.
PLEASE CHECK PALLET ON RECEIPT – In order to serve you better, if your delivery reaches you in a damaged condition – you MUST sign the delivery paperwork stating, ‘Damaged on receipt’ and call or e-mail our sales office immediately to report this. We will only be able to replace damaged in transit goods if a claim is entered within 24 hours of receipt. A photo of the damages must be taken, and the exact details of damages/shortages need to be emailed to email@example.com immediately. Writing ‘received unchecked’ or a similar disclaiming statement, will not confer the right to subsequent acceptance of a credit or replacement.
Due to the nature of our business, all our products are stored and handled with the utmost care. We cannot be responsible if damages occur after delivery/collection and do not accept third party claims of any kind.
Our drivers/carriers do not have the right to collect any goods unless previously authorised to do so by our Head Office.
RETENTION OF TITLE & PRICE AMENDMENTS
Notwithstanding delivery of the goods or any part thereof to the purchaser, or any agent on its behalf, the property in the goods shall remain in and be retained by the seller until the purchaser has paid the purchase price in full together with any other payments due to the seller, whether hereunder or in respect of any other liability to the seller whatsoever. In the case of nonpayment of any sum or sums due from the purchaser to the seller, in respect of the goods or any other goods supplied by the seller, the seller shall be entitled to repossess any such goods and to trace the goods or the proceeds of sale thereof into the hands of any liquidator, receiver or other third party. Notwithstanding the retention of title clause contained herein and the fact that title in the goods remains with the seller until the terms thereof have been satisfied, the goods shall be and are at the buyer’s risk from the time when delivery is made to the purchaser, or any agent on its behalf, by the seller or its agents.
